Kraken announced Mayur Gupta as their new chief marketing officer in a Business Wire press release last week.
He came to Kraken from Gannett, where he managed the firm’s shift from an advertising-based media organization to a subscription-led content platform as chief marketing and strategy officer.
Gupta’s attempts to mix data, technology, and storytelling as an engineer who later became a marketing executive have aided the expansion of both consumer and technology firms.
Cryptocurrency companies have been increasing their marketing efforts, the Wall Street Journal reported, including through high-profile commercials by Coinbase Global and Crypto.com in this year’s Super Bowl.
Kraken plans to release structured products focused on staking as part of a bid to enhance its existing offerings for institutional clients.
