Untamed Planet Has Received $24.3 Million In Funding To Create A Natural World In The Metaverse.

Untamed Planet has completed a Series A fundraising round and formed a partnership with Animoca‘s video game division nWay to develop a natural environment in the metaverse.

Players will be able to explore untamed landscapes in the virtual world, participate in missions, and collect NFT assets as part of the Untamed Metaverse initiative.

Untamed Planet has stated that at least half of the project’s proceeds will be used to fund conservation programs or local communities.

Untamed Planet previously released a LEGO version of their game of the same name on Roblox, an online game creation platform, which it claims attracted 30 million players.

The revenues from the game were utilized to help rangers in Congo’s Virunga National Park safeguard Eastern Lowland Gorillas and to sponsor the adoption of a Black Rhino calf in Kenya.

According to Untamed Planet, the project’s first NFT series will be based on Solana to save energy.

According to Untamed Planet’s website, the white paper for the metaverse project will be released in June.
