What is Hash Rush?

Hash Rush is a Massively Multiplayer Online Real-Time Strategy Game (MMO-RTS) set in the fictional Hermian Galaxy.

Players join Hash Rush in the immediate aftermath of a galactic catastrophe known as the Crystal Storm. Countless crystal shards have crashed into every known planet of the Hermian galaxy and have slowly buried their way into the planet’s crust. Shockingly, this was only the beginning, as the crystals were shards of a hive mind with the singular aim of corrupting and shaping life to its own ends.

Hash Rush is a Massively Multiplayer Online Real-Time Strategy Game (MMO-RTS) set in the Hermian galaxy. Utilizing blockchain technologies (NEAR and Ethereum), Hash Rush reinvents the free-to-play genre, stepping away from aggressive monetization, and introduces a new vision, PLAY TO EARN. Hash Rush achieves this by integrating with the Vorto Network, allowing for the tokenization (NFT) of select game items.

Hash Rush believes that blockchain technologies can hugely benefit players when used correctly for games.

Hash Rush integrates on Near and uses Proof of Stake.

While blockchain can be seen as a divisive feature, Hash Rush is making use of blockchain because of the team’s belief that blockchain provides the features needed to create a much more fair game for the player base.

• Blockchain provides a method that allows the game’s item databases to be visible to everyone. As blockchain is a distributed ledger that is publicly accessible, anyone can look up the actual rarity of a game item. So it’s no longer a matter of “your word versus ours” as quantities can be proven.
• Hash Rush uses the NEAR Protocol as its blockchain. Thanks to how NEAR (and the majority of blockchains) work, they can provide our players with a stable and trustworthy system that allows players to control their game items (letting players trade items freely and move the items or out of the game).
• Tokenization of game items gives the items a real currency value, allowing players to earn real money from selling their items – but only if they want to do so.

The assumption that all blockchains are hugely destructive to the environment is not true. While Proof of Work (POW) blockchains such as Bitcoin and current-day Ethereum are an environmental disaster in terms of power consumption, a different type of blockchain called Proof of Stake (POS) exists that does not require the computational power that POW blockchains need. The difference in power consumption is so vast that the blockchain Hash Rush use – NEAR – has been declared climate neutral.

Once the player has entered the game, Core Real-Time Strategy will begin. Here, players will start with the main building, Voyager’s Bastion, and are tasked with developing a strong base to gather resources, mine crystals, and train an army.

While the player is developing his base, Crystal Scourge (the enemy’s name) will do the same, and as they grow, Crystal Scourge’s forces will also attack.

Ultimately, the player’s main goal is to destroy the Crystal Scourge, a feat that can only be accomplished by approaching an enemy base, defeating monsters, and destroying the stronghold (Crystal Scourge’s main building). and then defeat the boss that lives in the Crystal Fiend.

Once the player has completed an area, they will be able to move on to the next area and continue the game. However, during the overtime, Crystal Scourge’s forces will launch counterattacks on areas the player has liberated, forcing the player to re-visit these areas.

Combat System

You need to practice and have a powerful army to participate in battles and win against your opponents. Each type of combat unit has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Crafting

Gather special resources from your planet and weapon-making equipment before entering the realm of decent heroes. That means you do not have the appropriate weapon; it will be difficult to win against the enemy.

Marketplace

Hash Rush’s biggest asset is its interesting gameplay, with a seamless combination of fighting, collecting, and building, which can certainly keep players engaged. The only downside, though, is its graphics, which might feel a bit underwhelming for many players, and might also be a deciding factor if they would try the game or not. However, graphics, like art, is subjective.
