Son Tung M-TP, a Vietnam top idol, announces cooperation on metaverse Radio Caca (RACA) project

Through social networking platforms, on May 12, Son Tung M-TP officially announced to become a partner of Radio Caca, the project’s token has been losing 95% of its value since its peak.

About 30 minutes earlier, Radio Caca’s Twitter account also announced that Son Tung would join USM Metaverse as a celebrity. The project side said that they would release a “galactic land” for Son Tung, and a show in the metaverse will be held soon. In addition, RACA will open a Discord server exclusively for Vietnamese users.

Son Tung won a poll on RACA’s Twitter in April. There, the project allows users to choose which Vietnamese celebrities they want Radio Caca to invite as ambassadors. According to the project description, Radio Caca is a DeFi (decentralized finance) and GameFi (financial game) vehicle for the virtual world of The USM Metaverse. This project released a video game called Metamon Island in October 2021.

This is a Play-to-Earn (play for money) game. In which RACA is the main token used to buy NFT animals, the type of character in this game. RACA used to hit an ATH at $0.0119 and is now trading at $0.000568, losing more than 95% of its value.

RadioCaca is known as the company that manages NFT (Non-fungible token) products such as Maye Musk Mystery Box (MPB) – the project of Mrs. Maye Musk, mother of billionaire Elon Musk. In addition, RadioCaca is also a decentralized finance project that specializes in publishing NFT games.

USM Metaverse is a 3D Mapping Metaverse MMO being developed by engineers at Roblox and Tencent Games. USM will launch a game that allows users to role-play directly in 3D space with a design that can expand the number of players.

Radio Caca’s market capitalization is currently at $282 million, ranking 237th among the most powerful cryptocurrencies. The announcement of cooperation with Son Tung did not help push the price of RACA.

During the growth period, the price of the NFTs of the GameFi Metamon or the metaverse USM of Radio Caca increased sharply. However, when the market goes down, the value of these virtual items is divided many times.

Son Tung’s announcement of cooperation with RACA surprised the cryptocurrency investor community in Vietnam. Because before that project mentioned above was judged by many users as just a “meme coin”.
