Grayscale Investments®, the world’s leading virtual investment adviser, announced today the launch of Grayscale Future of Finance, its first European exchange-traded fund. The London Stock Exchange (LSE), Borsa Italiana, and Deutsche Börse Xetra will list the UCITS ETF (ticker: GFOF). GFOF UCITS ETF will be available for purchase throughout Europe.
Grayscale Investments, one of the world’s top virtual currency asset managers, launched Grayscale Future of Finance UCITS ETF on May 16th. The London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana, and Deutsche Börse Xetra will all list the ETF. It will also be available for purchase throughout Europe.
Financial firms, exchangers, traders, technology businesses, and organizations directly active in bitcoin mining are all included in the index.
According to Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein, the digital economy is essentially driven by the spread of digital assets. Grayscale debuted an ETF in New York in February to monitor the same index. On March 13, it was selling at roughly $14.69, down from over $26 in February.
According to the website, the index’s top three holdings as of March 13 were retail trading platform Robinhood, payments giant PayPal, and fintech startup Block.
In recent weeks, cryptocurrencies and crypto-related equities have plummeted as investors fled riskier assets due to concerns about rising inflation and central banks tightening policies.
Bitcoin fell to a low of $25,401.05 last week, erasing away its gains from 2021. This product, according to Sonnenshein, builds on their past strengths while extending their growth as an asset manager that helps investors create long-term portfolios. The GFOF UCITS ETF is the logical next stage in their worldwide strategic development.
