The decentralized ticket and hotel booking company XcelTrip, which announced the introduction of SHIB as a payment method, is a new partner of the famous memecoin.
So SHIB fans and holders can now plan their own trips and pay for them entirely with the coin they adore. SHIB may now be used to book 2.3 million hotels, over 450 airlines, and car rentals in more than 70 countries, according to XcelTrip.
By accepting SHIB as a payment method, XcelTrip has joined the ranks of luxury firms such as Gucci and Tag Heuer, which revealed the possibility of making purchases with the memecoin earlier in May.
We can reasonably predict that SHIB will continue to expand and be adopted by an increasing number of businesses. Rumors regarding a possible collaboration between Shiba Inu and Red Bull are also circulating.
Although no details have been released, a Shiba Inu representative recently tweeted about a chat he had with the famed energy drink producer, adding fire to the suspicions.
Despite a lot of good news about SHIB’s widespread acceptance as a payment method, the token’s price has been progressively declining.
The token price is still mostly controlled by the overall situation of the market, which is not in good shape right now. Nonetheless, the market will eventually settle, and the more the Shiba Inu team invests in the development of its project during the down market, the more probable we will be able to see the coin’s spectacular growth when bullish feeling returns.
