The new blockchain retains the official name of Terra and reworks the LUNA token with a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens, especially without the existence of stablecoin UST. Meanwhile, the old blockchain will be renamed Terra Classic, the old LUNA token will be changed to LUNC, and the UST will remain.

New LUNA tokens will be allocated to old LUNA and UST holders based on specific conditions, with a token lockout period to prevent tokens from being released at the airdrop. According to estimates, the new LUNA token supply at the airdrop was 116.7 million LUNA, gradually increasing to 182 million LUNA after about 1 year.
