Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and XRP accepted as payment by Scott Dunn

Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and XRP are now accepted as payments by Scott Dunn as Nuvei announces its partnership with the luxury tour operator.
Scott Dunn selects Nuvei as global payments provider

Nuvei is tomorrow’s payment platform. Designed to accelerate customers’ business, Nuvei’s modular, flexible and scalable technology allows leading companies to accept next-gen payments, offer all payout options and benefit from card issuing, banking, risk, and fraud management services.

In March 2021, Nuvei announced support for over 40 cryptocurrencies, allowing merchants utilizing the payment service to send and receive payments in over 200 countries using a variety of cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, NEO, XRP, Dogecoin, Reddcoin, Bitcoin Gold, USDT, and more cryptocurrencies were among them. Holders of Nuvei-supported cryptocurrencies can now book personalized trips and honeymoons through Scott Dunn as a result of the new collaboration.

Commenting on the partnership, Nuvei Chair and CEO Phil Fayer, said:

“As a business that believes in exceptional experience, innovation and service, we’re delighted to partner with Scott Dunn.”

Scott Dunn is one of the most experienced luxury tour operators in the world. With offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Asia, its global team of travel specialists provides visitors with round-the-clock assistance, planning customized holidays and honeymoons designed to elevate travel beyond the usual.

With an insatiable desire to explore the world central to the company’s concept, Scott Dunn enjoys the planning and revels in the details, knowing that it’s the tiniest details that make the biggest difference. Scott Dunn’s Chief Financial Officer Mark Woodall said:

“The Nuvei team’s extensive knowledge of our industry, coupled with a strong product stack and global reach, was instrumental in our selection process. With Nuvei as our payment provider, we are well-positioned to grow further in key markets globally.”

Cryptocurrencies are becoming more widely accepted. SBI Motor Japan, a Tokyo-based used car exporter, recently announced that XRP and Bitcoin would be accepted as payment methods. These transactions will be handled by SBI VC Trade, a cryptocurrency trading division of financial powerhouse SBI Group. SBI Motor Japan focuses their efforts on the African market.

Cryptocurrencies continue to gain mainstream adoption

Shiba Inu, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and other cryptocurrencies are being accepted as payment by Boston-based accounting firm Wolf & Company via crypto payment processor BitPay. As previously covered by CoinCu, select Gucci stores will take Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and many other cryptocurrencies as payment.
