SpaceX – a company under the management of billionaire Elon Musk, has been told by him to accept payments in DOGE soon.
On May 27, billionaire Elon Musk suddenly announced that SpaceX, the aerospace company he built, was about to accept Dogecoin (DOGE) payments for souvenirs. The world’s most prosperous businessman also does not rule out the possibility of doing the same with Starlink, a satellite Internet service company that he also owns.
Before that, DOGE was also accepted by another Musk company, electric car company Tesla, to buy items in the Shop such as clothes, accessories, and souvenirs. However, Tesla has yet to accept DOGE to buy its electric cars directly as it did with Bitcoin.
In May 2002, SpaceX announced that it would host a satellite orbiting mission, fully funded by DOGE by Geometric Energy Corporation, in the first quarter of 2022. More information on the itinerary of this event.
The price of DOGE has increased slightly to 0.09 after Elon Musk’s statement about the above information but is now back to 0.08. Currently, Dogecoin is still sliding up to 90% since peaking at ATH at $0.73 in May 2021, 1 year ago.
