Terraform Labs has planned to airdrop new LUNA tokens for the original token holders to compensate for their losses. However, despite their efforts, the airdrop Terra Luna did not proceed as planned, and the distribution to the affected users was uneven.
Some of Luna’s investors have been on social media broadcasting their problems about not getting the full airdrop distribution as promised. The Terra team has now admitted that their airdrop is uneven and has tweeted that they are working to find a solution.
Many users have received relatively fewer tokens through airdrop that do not match the amount promised by the team.
One user claimed to have held 300K dollars in LUNA while only broadcasting $59 for the token’s new iteration.
Another user claimed to receive only $112 from the airdrop after losing 50K worth of LUNA.
The team confirmed that they are fully aware of the situation and will soon complete the airdrop correctly. However, they did not give the expected date for resolving the airdrop issue but revealed that it would be done “soon.”
