Cynthia Lummis, a senator from Wyoming, USA, said that she bought more Bitcoin (BTC) when that cryptocurrency was in sharp decline. Ms. Lummis also stated that if the price continues to drop, she will keep buying more BTC.
Share with Fox News On June 23, the senator said she was happy to be able to buy more Bitcoin (BTC) during the recent decline. When asked about the rapid drop in the price of Bitcoin, Lummis announced
“I’m very happy about that, because as soon as it drops a little more, I’ll buy more.”
Lummis compares Bitcoin’s decline to that of one of her favorite stocks, United Rentals.
“I bought it,” – Lummis talks about United Rentals. “It fell vertically at one point. I got my hands on it and oh my god it’s one of the best stocks I’ve ever invested in. I see Bitcoin doing the same because the fundamentals are good. “

Cynthia Lummis is one of the strongest Bitcoin proponents in the U.S. Senate. Earlier this year, she launched a financial innovation caucus to educate other lawmakers about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Back then, Lummis announced that she would be working with the caucus to address crypto-bias issues, including its link to money laundering or other financial crime.
Senator Lummis also attended the 2021 Bitcoin conference in Miami. Here she spoke about the importance of promoting crypto innovation.
