Andreessen Horowitz’s crypto division, a16z Crypto, has expanded into Asia by opening an office in Seoul. The firm appointed Sungmo Park as the head of its operations in the region. 

Park will oversee efforts to support portfolio companies and accelerate crypto adoption across Asia. His expertise, especially from his previous roles at Monad Foundation and Polygon Labs, will be pivotal in driving growth (a16z, 2025).
