What is ARK?

ARK coin (ARK) is a Cryptocurrency platform built on top of a widely adopted Proof of Stake (DPoS) system for consumers. Its roadmap includes the ability to transact across Blockchains, smart cards as a means of payment, and IPFS integration. The core development team consists of the main developers of the Lisk network, including lead Lisk developer Francois-Xavier Thoorens, several prominent validators from the Lisk network, and co-founders from Crypti.

The development team created the ARK coin as a consumer-friendly and faster, user-friendly version of Lisk, a javascript-based system designed as a platform for distributed applications.

How ARK Works ?

The ARK project is receiving a lot of attention from investors on virtual currency forums. Therefore, the developers of ARK are setting extremely ambitious goals to create a complete ecosystem, accessible to more cryptocurrency investors.

SmartBridge

SmartBridge technology is one of the new and highly anticipated features at the ARK project. In the Lisk project with sidechains, their main goal is to allow other distributed applications to have separate sidechains but will still connect to the Lisk project. But ARK is an upgraded version of Lisk, so instead of using sidechains like before, they apply SmartBridge technology.

With SmartBridge, this technology will allow other blockchains to send messages to and through ARK. Users can issue ARK transactions using Ethereum or activate Smart Contracts from Bitcoin thanks to ARK.

The project will accomplish this by supporting encrypted listeners, providing nodes that listen for ARK-compliant messages. These nodes can derive content from messages and perform transactions on other chains.

Alternative programming languages

The developers of the ARK project have clearly defined their development goal to enable as many coding languages as possible. Therefore, the participation of more and more developers around the world in the project is always enthusiastically welcomed.

In addition to supporting many different programming languages, developers also have access to SDKs in languages such as: C++, Laravel, etc. Besides, ARK developers also promise to add more languages. other languages like R, C, Advanced PowerShell, ..in the future.

Buttons can be deployed on Blockchain platforms
