What is Centrifuge?

Centrifuge is one of the world's first protocols that connects trillions of dollars worth of real-world assets (RWA) with Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Today businesses are using Centrifuge to access the liquidity that DeFi provides while investors fund projects for attractive and stable yields.

Through Centrifuge Chain, real assets: Houses, goods, vehicles, etc. will be tokenized and traded as NFTs.

TVL doubles every month

Centrifuge has entered a new category of total value growth locked TVL, real world assets (RWA). Once tokenized, real-world assets such as bills, real estate, royalties, and others have the potential to bring trillions of new assets to DeFi. Centrifuge tokenizes real-world assets by converting them to NFTs on the Centrifuge Chain. RWA TVL measures the value of active real-world assets used to fund Centrifuge.

Pioneering project on Polkadot

Centrifuge has the highest TVL in the Polkadot ecosystem and will be one of the first projects to run Parachain on Polkadot. Centrifuge is built on Polkadot for speed and low fees while Centrifuge Financial Dapp. Tinlake was built to access the massive liquidity on Ethereum. CFG token has its own bridge to Ethereum.

Integration with leading DeFi projects

Centrifuge is bringing the first real-world assets back to MakerDAO’s DAI and is working on the first real-world asset marketplace on Aave. Direct integration into other DeFi protocols allows Centrifuge users to gain instant liquidity and makes DeFi protocols more secure from destabilizing events by adding multivariable collateral motion.
