HyperCash (HC)

What is HCash?

HyperCash abbreviated as HC is a representative cryptocurrency and is used exclusively for a Blockchain platform capable of exchanging information and linking multiple blockchains (including DAG), this Blockchain is called HyperCash. HCash, for example Hcash can link the Blockchain of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

HyperCash (HC) was released to the market in June 2017 through an ICO.

At the same time, HCash is an extremely secure network with quantum resistant signature technology.

Previously, HyperCash was known as HShare (HSR) and was established in 2016. Later HC was converted from HSR at a 1:1 ratio

What outstanding features does HyperCash have?

Talking about the highlights of HyperCash, there are actually quite a few, but in this article I only list 3 features that make HyperCash stand out from the rest, including:

Interoperability: HyperCash creates a Blockchain network and a DAG-based network that helps HyperCash act as a sidechain between Blockchain and DAG with the ability to link other Blockchains together.

Quantum resistance: The project as well as the Crypto community were afraid that the appearance of Quantum computer would break the "inviolability" of the Blockchain, so it created Quantum resistance by combining 2 Quantum resistance signatures, BLISS. and MSS/LMS. DAO Governance: DAO is used to combine PoW and PoS mechanisms to help create a decentralized organization to manage the network through voting.

Introduction to Hcash and Hshare

Hshare was the pre-launch token for the recently launched Hcash blockchain network. What’s being touted as a side chain for both blockchain and legacy networks will be technically ready for blockchain’s global domination. The key lies in the ability to exchange coins and tokens from different blockchains.

Interoperability between blockchains is not a new concept. Neo, Aeternity, Icon, Lisk, and many other blockchains support sidechains. Hcash is hoping to be “the” sidechain for all other blockchains and cryptos, and lead developer Dr. Joseph Liu hopes its knowledge proof technology is a key selling point. 

It uses the same zero-hash proofs as Zcash to provide end-to-end transaction privacy through randomization and anonymization. Of course, the network is still brand new, so all the talk of quantum computing and quantum resistance is just that right now. Version 2.0 just launched August 7, 2018. The rebranding effort will take some time, as it’s still referred to as both Hshare and Hcash cryptocurrency, and much of the old tokens haven’t been transferred over yet. 

Perhaps the website will help: it goes by the somewhat-unforgettable name www.h.cash – not quite as good as www.johnny.cash but we can let that slide.
