What is RAMP DEFI (RAMP)?

RAMP DEFI is a Protocol for the issuance of Stablecoins Backed by Crypto Assets built on Ethereum. These Crypto Assets can be Non-ERC20 or ERC20 Stablecoins.

Users can then exchange these Stablecoins with each other through Smart Contracts that interfere with third parties (Permissionless, Trustless, Transparency).

However, this growth has mainly occurred on the Ethereum network, making it impossible for a large pool that has invested capital in Crypto Assets outside of the Ethereum ecosystem (non-Standard ERC20 Crypto Assets) to participate effectively.

If these users want to participate in Ethereum Based DeFi, there are two options, the first is to inject new capital, or the second option is to exit from existing positions to participate in Ethereum Based DeFi. In general, this is not optimal.

What is the solution of RAMP DEFI (RAMP)?

You have the above amount of Token X on Blockchain X, worth $100.

You bring this amount of Token X worth $ 100 Locked into the ecosystem of RAMP DEFI as collateral to Minted out Token xUSD, 1 xUSD = 1 USD. Of course xUSD is still on Blockchain X. In order to avoid the great volatility of Crypto Assets, you can only Minted $ 50 xUSD if you mortgage $100 worth of Token X.

This xUSD Stablecoin is then Swap to ERC20 rUSD using RenVM. rUSD is then used as collateral to borrow eUSD.

Once you have eUSD, you can Unwrap the current popular Stablecoins like USDT, USDC, DAI, TUSD.

You can use Stablecoins to participate in the ecosystem of other major Defi projects such as: Uniswap, Maker DAO, SNX, ...

RAMP DEFI Ecosystems

rMint and rStake

rMint accepts non-ERC20 Crypto Assets and minted rUSD. rUSD can be staked at rStake to receive rewards, or deposited into rFinance for lending or borrowing.

eMint and eFarm

eMint uses Stablecoins ERC20 and MInted to eUSD, can send eUSD to eFarm to join yield farming pools and receive RAMP Token as reward or send to rFinance to participate in lending or borrowing.

rFinance

rFinance provides a lending and borrowing platform so that rUSD and eUSD Holders can lend and borrow freely to each other.

rPool

rPool is the place to store and distribute the value of the ecosystem for RAMP Holders.

rSwap

Users can use rSwap to Swap ERC20 and Non-ERC20 together.
