MetaMask Wallet

MetaMask Wallet Review
8.2 reflects a wallet that leads its category with real asterisks attached. Custody integrity is flawless, the security defaults (simulation, alerts, hardware pairing) are the best of the mainstream hot wallets, the multichain expansion is genuine rather than marketing, and the two disclosed incidents were peripheral and handled openly. Against that: the swap and ramp fees are above market, the license is proprietary despite public repositories, ETH staking excludes American and British users entirely, and MetaMask's size makes its users the primary target of every new drainer technique. A hardware wallet beats it for storage, and cheaper tools beat it for trading. As the daily driver for on-chain activity, nothing else is as universally supported.
