Phantom Wallet

Phantom Wallet Review
Phantom earns its 8.0 as a category leader with two structural asterisks. On the credit side: correct non-custodial custody, nine actively growing chains, two named audit firms, a $50,000 bug bounty, safety tooling few hot wallets match, and free global availability with no KYC to self-custody. On the debit side: a closed-source core that caps how much trust the audits can transfer, plus a 2025 that included a disputed vulnerability lawsuit and a phishing campaign against its users. Neither incident is a proven flaw in Phantom's code, and the company disputed the lawsuit's central claim, but a wallet review that prices in the polish has to price in the litigation too. For Solana users it remains the default recommendation. For maximum-trust storage, pair it with hardware or choose an open-source wallet you can verify.
