Available on iOS and Android, it lets users hold assets on-device, manage NFTs, connect to decentralized applications, and move between self-custody and the broader Kraken ecosystem more easily than with a fully standalone wallet. Although it comes from the same brand, Kraken Wallet is separate from the Kraken exchange . Kraken launched it in 2024 and published the codebase publicly, which gives it more transparency than many exchange-branded wallets. The wallet supports major networks including Bitcoin , Ethereum , Arbitrum , Base, Optimism , Polygon , Solana , and Dogecoin , with NFT support on Solana and supported EVM networks.

Kraken Wallet is best suited to mobile users who want a simpler path into self-custody, swaps, and Web3 activity while staying close to a mainstream brand. Its main strength is broad multi-chain coverage in one app. The trade-off is that it remains a hot wallet, so phishing, malicious approvals, and device compromise still matter, and it does not currently support hardware wallet connections.
