NTF Collection Art Gobblers See Trading Volume Over $20 Million In 1 Day

Art Gobblers, an NFT-based decentralized art factory, raked in millions of dollars in ETH quickly after launching its mint.

According to statistics from the new NFT marketplace Blur, the collection, which was free to mint, has witnessed over 13,920 ETH (about $22 million) in trading volume at the time of writing.

Justin Roiland, the voice actor and co-creator of the TV show Rick and Morty, and the venture capital company Paradigm founded Art Gobblers.

The claimed purpose of Art Gobblers is to establish a decentralized art factory through NFTs, a GOO token, and community engagement.

According to OpenSea statistics, the collection is now in the top ten for October sales volume after only one day of selling.

According to aggregated statistics from Blur’s NFT marketplace, the collection has a floor price of 12.8 ETH (about $20,000) at the time of writing.

The collection has a royalty cost of 6.9%, and slightly under half of the consumers avoid the licensing price by purchasing through royalty-free marketplaces such as Blur and X2Y2.
