Alibaba Cloud known as Aliyun, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, provides cloud computing services to online businesses and Alibaba’s own e-commerce ecosystem. Its international operations are registered and headquartered in Singapore.
Recently, Avalanche blockchain announced an integration with the cloud computing provider to support its Node-as-a-Service initiatives. Through the integration, developers will be able to launch new validators using Alibaba Cloud’s plug-and-play infrastructure as a service.
This will help developers with high resource demands take advantage of additional resources provided by Alibaba Cloud, including computation, storage, and distribution during peak hours.
The Avalanche network is currently secured by more than 1,200 validators and processes on average of 2 million daily transactions. The future-proof blockchain is setting new records for user activity, with 133M total transactions in the third quarter of 2022, an increase of 1,678% over the third quarter of 2021.
