NFT Greeting Card App Soulflake Launched By ConsenSys

Key Points:

  • ConsenSys announced the launch of Soulflake, an NFT greeting card app that allows users to make and send Soulbound NFT greeting cards to others.
  • Soulflake is deployed on Polygon. To create and mint Soulbound NFT greeting cards, users may connect their MetaMask wallets to Soulflake. These cards can then be sent to the recipient’s wallet address, ENS, or Lens handle.
  • Users can also decide to send MATIC to the receiver.
The debut of Soulflake, an NFT greeting card software that enables users to create and distribute Soulbound NFT greeting cards to others was announced by ConsenSys.

An experimental Web3 social tool called Soulflake has been installed on the Polygon network. It enables Web3 fans to quickly create greeting cards with generative on-chain designs and send them as one-of-a-kind soulbound NFTs to the wallets of friends, family, partners, or motivational community leaders.

The dApp is free to use, but as an anti-spam measure, it asks the sender to pre-pay a tiny “burn allowance” in MATIC tokens. The receiver has the option to burn a soulflake greeting card they no longer want if they so want. This allows the recipient to decide what stays in their wallet and assists in discouraging spam and nasty messages from being sent.

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) like soulbound tokens (SBTs) may only be issued to and owned by a single wallet since they are non-transferable and non-tradable.

With no centralization dangers or price speculation temptations, they may express and manage Web3 social identities and connections in a way that is both verifiable and intimate.

Users may use Soulflake to design and manufacture Soulbound NFT greeting cards, then send them to the recipient’s wallet address, ENS, or Lens handle by connecting their MetaMask wallets to Soulflake. Users also have the option of sending the recipient MATIC.

ConsenSys is a global blockchain company focused on building and scaling tools and enterprise software products powered by Ethereum.

Its product suite, composed of Infura, Quorum, Truffle, Codefi, MetaMask, and Diligence, serves millions of users, supports billions of blockchain-based queries for clients, and has handled billions of dollars in digital assets.
