Key Points:
Raydium will now provide the whole value of the compromised RAY as well as 15% of the remaining funds in exchange for the attacker returning the stolen money.
While the attacker’s identity is still a mystery, the protocol stated that it would continue to collaborate with ecosystem partners to look into the transfers of stolen fund. Raydium is collaborating with law enforcement and has contacted centralized exchanges.
Additionally, Raydium is looking to the community’s on-chain sleuths for information.
The first individual or team to provide information on the attack that results in the recovery of fund will get a $75,000 prize. If fund is found within 72 hours, the reward is $150,000.
The attacker is urged by Raydium to return the money so that users can be paid in the most effective way possible. The following addresses can be directly used to send money or messages:
As Coincu reported, a secret key was leaked last Friday, allowing Raydium to be compromised for roughly 4.4 million worth of cryptocurrency. There were around 1.88 million RAY, 1.09 million USDC, and 120,000 SOL among the stolen money.
The Raydium exploiter account appears to be involved in additional illicit conduct on Solana, according to a preliminary examination. A tweet from cloudzy.sol on November 7 detailing a wallet to exploit totaling 198 SOL that ultimately ended up in the same account that paid the principal the exploiter wallet as described in the initial post-mortem tweet is one indicator of this.
As a whitehat bug reward, Raydium initially gave 10% of the fund that had been taken.
