Two top non-fungible token collections on Solana, DeGods, and y00ts, have revealed plans to connect to Ethereum and Polygon in the first few months of 2019.

In October 2021, Rohun Vora, an NFT creator who goes by the alias “Frank DeGods,” developed the two collections on Solana. Regarding floor pricing, they are the two most essential NFT projects on the Solana blockchain.

To compete with NFT blue chips like Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, and others, The DeGods collection will move to Ethereum. Its floor price of 460.00 SOL ($5,221) is the highest on Solana’s NFT market. It is planned for y00ts, which has a floor of 140 SOL ($1600), to switch to Polygon, an Ethereum sidechain that enables quicker and less expensive transactions.

Vora claimed on Twitter that Polygon and Ethereum will both act as the collections’ new homes, enabling them to reach a larger NFT user base. A cross-chain bridge would facilitate the movement, he continued. The team hasn’t yet disclosed the technical information regarding the migration and the operation of the fictitious bridge, nevertheless. These specifics will be made known later.

“The details of the bridge will be released when it’s ready and tested. This has never been done before at this scale. We want to make sure that it’s airtight,” the DeGods team noted.
