Mada Aflak, Senior Software Engineer at Twitter, shared a video demonstrating the functionality that allows users to add NFTs to their accounts. Users can simply edit their profile, connect a crypto wallet and import their OpenSea collection. They can then choose an avatar from their non-token-futable (NFT) digital art collection.
The profile picture will also be marked with a badge to confirm that it is a real item so they curl their extremely expensive CryptoPunk or Bored Ape profile picture and let people know it is real.
Aflak states that the run is just an experiment with a sham model so everything can change and encourages users to provide feedback and suggestions.

This includes checking how long a user has owned a property, recommending followers to other NFT owners, buying and selling directly from Twitter profiles, and creating social charts of NFT owners.
This is the latest crypto-friendly move from Twitter, which last week integrated Lightning payments with Twitter profiles so that users can send and receive Bitcoin for tips or other payments.
CEO Jack Dorsey has long been a proponent of Bitcoin and promoted it through the platform. Dorsey also famously sold the first tweet as NFT.
OpenSea had sales of a whopping $ 4 billion in August, but sales fell in September, with sales of around $ 2.45 billion in the last 30 days, according to DappRadar.
