Donald Trump has released a new NFT collection called the “Mugshot Edition,” which includes snippets of the clothes he wore on the day of his arrest as part of Georgia state election allegations. The collection consists of 47 Trump cards priced at $99 each.

Buyers who purchase 47 cards or more will have the opportunity to have dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago and receive a piece of the suit he wore for his mugshot. Some cards in the collection are unique and one-of-a-kind, while others may be hand-signed by Trump himself.

Will Trump’s Mugshot NFTs Be Successful Like His Previous Collections?

In late 2022, the former US President Donald Trump brought in his first collection of NFTs, called Collect Trump Cards. each NFT costs $99, for a total of 45,000 NFTs, issued on the Polygon chain and can be purchased with a credit card or WETH.

The NFT market experienced a decline in sales in 2022, but his NFT collection that was released in December quickly sold out after only a few hours of launch, even occupying the top 1 trading volume on OpenSea at that time.

However, the former President, who is returning to American politics, explained that he released NFT only to satisfy his passion for art, not to ask for money.

In April this year, Donald Trump launched 2nd series of NFT collection. The second series featured different art, features, and traits, and will have a total of 47,000 NFTs, 2,000 more than the first series.
