Samsung’s new Paperless service adds document processing capabilities to corporate blockchain

Samsung SDS, Samsung’s information and communication technology (ICT), has introduced a new service called Paperless to ensure the reliability and transparency of documents in a cloud environment.

Paperless was introduced as a Cloud-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution for companies and manages sensitive documents such as contracts, consent forms and certificates on the blockchain in order to prevent counterfeiting and counterfeiting. According to the official announcement, the new service can be used in different areas such as voting or tasks that require different proofs.

Paperless also enables the management of documents that need to be processed after a certain period of time by encrypting sensitive or bulk data and storing it on a separate server, only preserving the hash value of each data in the blockchain.

Since the entire data history such as creation, modification and processing of documents is recorded in real time on the blockchain, this design, which combines on-chain and off-chain technology, addresses the “transaction speed of the blockchain”. of files “. Read notifications.

Similarly, blockchain can help publishers build audience trust

Samsung SDS adds that the company has introduced Paperless for employee payroll, company-wide reconciliation, and certificate management to streamline complex processes.

The ICT subsidiary of the Korean tech giant is a well-known pioneer of blockchain technology. Last year, Samsung SDS announced that it would run a series of pilots to test drug delivery management based on blockchain technology to ensure transparency in drug tracking.

Samsung itself is also taking part in the blockchain race. The company has already filed patents for a programmable solid-state drive (SSD) and switch, although that patent has not yet produced tangible results.
