Moonbeam is expected to be fully released on Polkadot on January 11, 2022

Moonbeam’s full launch on Polkadot is expected to be completed on January 11, 2022 after the end of Phase 2.

Full start on Polkadot Moonbeam

During this phase sudo (superuser key) is removed. EVM and balance conversion are also activated.

In detail there will be the following activities:

The sudo is removed and control of the network is transferred to the token holder.
Balance transfer and EVM are activated. This means that users will be able to set and receive rewards. When remittance is enabled, the chain of token holders is managed using an on-chain governance system.

Important NOTE:

Crowdloan participants will receive initial rewards as soon as the network has fully started. Details on the distribution of rewards will be announced shortly.
– Take Flight participants will receive their GLMR tokens for 40 days after the completion of the full introductory phase.
