Gate.io has announced the World Cup Trading Competition (WCTC) – a Futures trading competition with a potential prize pool of up to $5 million. The contest is part of the exchange’s 9th birthday celebrations, which started earlier this June.
Since its ‘launch’ in 2013, Gate.io has grown to offer a wide range of products and services with over 1,400 coins and tokens available on the main exchange, serving over 10 million users all around the world. Early registration for WCTC opened on May 27, with the contest officially starting on June 10 and running until July 1.
The contest will offer users to participate as individuals or as a group – 5 or more members are required to be eligible. Users will need to register for the event before registration closes on June 28, in order to compete for a prize pool of up to $5 million, depending on the number of participants in the contest.
Participation rules:
Gate.io Perpetual Contract Trading gives users the opportunity to trade with up to 100x leverage on Bitcoin (BTC) and up to 20x leverage on hundreds of other popular cryptocurrencies such as ETH, EOS, LTC, etc. in both buy and sell positions. Teams or individuals will need to trade a minimum of $200 with the aim of generating the highest percentage or highest total return on their investment to win.
The Gate.io’s broader 9th birthday celebration has seen the company hand out multiple prizes including a 999g solid gold brick and a free chance for one space trip.
