Gate.io announces futures trading contest with up to $5 million prizes

Gate.io has announced the World Cup Trading Competition (WCTC) – a Futures trading competition with a potential prize pool of up to $5 million. The contest is part of the exchange’s 9th birthday celebrations, which started earlier this June.

Participation rules:
- The troop showdown accounts for 80% of the total prize pool, sharing up to $4,000,000; teams participating will be ranked according to their earnings amount and earnings rate. Ranking by earnings amount accounts for 80% of the team competition prize pool, and ranking by earnings rate accounts for 20% of the team competition prize pool.
- The solo showdown accounts for 20% of the total prize pool, sharing up to $1,000,000; individuals participating will be ranked according to their earnings amount and earnings rate. Ranking by earnings amount accounts for 80% of the individual competition prize pool, and ranking by earnings rate accounts for 20% of the individual competition prize pool.
- Lucky draw, with a 100% winning rate; all the valid trading users who participate (either in a team or individual competitions) will receive 1 lucky draw chance for every 50,000 USDT increase in the cumulative futures trading volume, with a 100% winning rate, up to 5 draw chances per person.
