Nearly 300 million Ripple tokens have been transferred between significant crypto exchanges over the last two days, according to information recently provided by well-known cryptocurrency tracking service Whale Alert.
As the corporation continues to transmit significant amounts of XRP to be converted into millions of US dollars, the fintech giant XRP directly participated in the transfer of these assets.
According to a tweet from Whale Alert, almost 300 million XRP worth of XRP tokens have been transferred in the previous 48 hours. The cryptocurrency behemoth Ripple delivered a total of 50 million tokens, or $18,777,694 at the current XRP/USD conversion rate.
The 50 million tokens were transferred by XRP to its RL18-VN wallet, and 20 million XRP were subsequently delivered to the Bitstamp exchange, according to Bithomp Analytics, a platform that analyzes XRP data.
Strangely, this platform, which serves as one of XRP’s several ODL corridors, plans to delist the XRP/PAX pair later in August.
Top-tier exchanges Bittrex, BitGo, Bitstamp, and Bitso—the cryptocurrency unicorn associated with Ripple after the crypto giant’s hidden investment into this exchange in the fall of 2019—shifted the remaining 270 million coins that Whale Alert discovered.
