After 6 Months, Heather Morgan Denies Money Laundering Allegations From Bitfinex

Heather Morgan took to Twitter after 6 months of silence to claim that any crypto project or NFT with her resemblance is a scam. Morgan and her husband allegedly laundered $4.5 billion in stolen bitcoin earlier this year.

Heather Morgan, was previously accused laundering of $4.5 billion in Bitcoin stolen from crypto exchange Bitfinex. For the first time in 6 months of silence, she took to Twitter to announce that she is actually not involved in any crypto projects.

Before being accused of money laundering, Morgan had a flourishing rap career under the moniker “Razzlekhan” and led a copywriting business called SaleForce as CEO. Plus, she offers advice on how to protect your business from cybercrime and how to design more socially effective “your way into anything”.

However, on February 8, Morgan and her husband Ilya Lichtenstein allegedly laundered $4.5 billion in bitcoin stolen from crypto exchange Bitfinex. The US Department of Justice recovered $3.6 billion in stolen funds on the same day.

While Morgan and Lichtenstein could face 25 years in prison if convicted of conspiracy to launder money and conspiracy to defraud the United States, both were released on $8 million bail.

Her Twitter post is currently just a statement when no evidence has been provided to support her statement.
