The Sandbox Partners With AXA Hong Kong

The Sandbox has announced a collaboration with AXA Hong Kong, well-known worldwide insurance, making AXA Hong Kong the first Hong Kong-based insurer to enter The Sandbox metaverse.

The leading global insurer has acquired a 3×3 LAND, providing its clients with a cutting-edge interactive environment, according to the statement.

Hong Kong has an important and increasing role in The Sandbox, with the Mega City cultural hub hosting various Hong Kong corporations, artists, and performers. AXA joins this vibrant virtual community as the industry’s first insurer to engage in The Sandbox.

Through AXA’s LAND, the company will attempt to provide innovative digital experiences to its clients, with the goal of co-creating the future of insurance in the metaverse.

The Sandbox has collaborated with the Singapore-based financial services business DBS to enter the metaverse market. Visitors will be introduced to the DBS BetterWorld interactive metaverse experience by the partners.

DBS BetterWorld, the bank’s alternative engagement platform, would enlighten visitors to The Sandbox about current environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges. According to the most current deal, DBS would purchase carbon offsets to make DBS BetterWorld’s development carbon neutral.
