The cooperation, according to the statement, would allow 1inch Wallet users to make transactions in a more user-friendly manner by substituting complicated addresses with domain names. This is exactly what ENS provides: the replacement of Ethereum addresses with web-friendly domain names.
The new partnership marks a foray into the decentralized domain field, which is presently controlled by the Ethereum Name Service (ENS).
Sergej Kunz, the co-founder of 1Inch Network, said:
“The partnership with Unstoppable opens up opportunities to overcome these barriers by making Web3 more fun and engaging.”
Unstoppable Domains claims to have registered 2.6 million domain names and is integrated with 453 other services including Trust Wallet, ShapeShift, OpenC, Coinbase, and Brave Browser. ENS, on the other hand, has 2.17 million registered names and over 500 integrations.
