Statistics from Wu said that the research team showed that the spot trading volume of major exchanges in September increased by 15% compared to the previous month. However, the top does not belong to major exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, but Bybit.

Over the past month, Bybit has led the growth of spot trading volume. Today’s top exchange, Binance, saw only a 25% increase in volume but is still the top exchange in terms of total spot trading volume.

Derivatives trading volume in September increased by 3.7% month-on-month. The three exchanges with the most growth are Phemex with a 103% increase, MEXC up 29%, and Bybit (Futures) up 9%. Notably, Crypto.com was the exchange that dropped the most with 50% compared to the previous month.

Next is crypto exchange website traffic which dropped by 6.9% month-on-month in September. The top growth rate for traffic belongs to BitMart 34%. The top three losers are Upbit -24%, MEXC -18%, and Gate -17%. The main traffic sources are the United States, Russia, and South Korea.
