Chiliz Has Increased Staff By 70% In 2022 Thanks To The Wave Of The 2022 World Cup
The leading token fan king Chiliz (CHZ) continues to develop human resources despite the difficult market context.
Blockchain company Chiliz, the creator of the Socios.com token fan platform, has been promoting recruitment in recent times, despite the unpredictable correction of the market.
Specifically, Chiliz has increased the company’s headcount by more than 70% this year, accelerating its global expansion, Chiliz and Socios.com CEO Alexandre Dreyfus confirmed.
According to Dreyfus, Chiliz currently has more than 300 full-time employees stationed in the cities of Miami, Switzerland, London, Milan and Sao Paulo, Madrid, Malta, Lyon, and Istanbul.
“We’ve grown our team and our global presence very significantly. We have been through market conditions similar to this in the past.”
The cryptocurrency market as a whole has been experiencing several major sell-offs, with total market capitalization plummeting 60% since the start of the year. A series of large and small crypto companies simultaneously cut staff to moderate operations.
However, token fandom is a rare sector that is still going strong over the past two months, ramping up wildly ahead of the November 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
According to CryptoSlam, the monthly revenue of global fan tokens has increased 200% since the beginning of 2022, reaching $6.4 billion in September, up from $2.2 billion in January.
Despite various advancements in the NFT market, Chiliz remains dedicated to fan tokens as the firm’s core emphasis. “We are still at less than 1% of our potential,” continued Dreyfus.
