Tweet tiles are Twitter posts with larger images, variable fonts and prominent CTAs, integrated to boost clicks. The tweets will also contain NFT metadata including the name of the NFT/collection and creator.
In August, the company introduced the prototype product, allowing prominent news and media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian to test the functionality.
However, in conjunction with OpenSea, Rarible, Magic Eden, Dapper Labs, and GuardianLinkās Jump.trade markets, the social media business now aims to introduce the functionality to the realm of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The collaboration will allow Twitter to make the functionality available to NFT collectors, allowing them to share CTA-enabled items on the site. The tweets will also include NFT metadata, such as the name of the NFT/collection and the developer.
For the first time, the highlighted partners can now show colorful NFTs on the platform. If the test is successful, Twitter intends to make the functionality available to the larger NFT community.
Developers and collectors will be able to enrich the NFT experience by developing mobile-centric postings with better visual presentations using Tweet tiles.
The Tweet tile functionality is already available on the Web and iOS for the five listed NFT markets.
