Eterlast Raise $4.5 Million To Launch Web3 Games To Sports Fans
With $4.5 million in funding, startup company Eterlast has come out of hiding to provide Web3 games to sports fans.
Supernode Global seized the lead in the seed round. Immutable X, Stake Capital, and Founders Factory were some of the additional supporters.
The venture studio at Founders Factory gave birth to the business with its headquarters in London. The company, which has roots in both London and Barcelona, wants to develop new ways for sports fans to interact with clubs, athletes, and sports through NFTs, blockchain games, and immersive experiences.
Eterlast will prioritize boxing and rugby first. It intends to release House of Boxing the following month, allowing users to take control of crucial moments from notable fights and recreate them as player vs. player video games.
In order to get a sizable archive of boxing matches for the platform, the startup collaborated on the game with boxing promoter Queensberry Promotions.
Immutable X, a scaling solution based on the leading zero-knowledge-proof technology from StarkWare, powers Eterlast. These assets will be protected by Ethereum’s tried-and-true security, stay in a decentralized environment, and be tradeable on any platforms that accept Immutable X, thanks to the Layer 2 solution.
