Thoma Bravo, a private equity firm that offers risk management and compliance services to financial institutions, cryptocurrency businesses, and governmental organizations, has led the round.
Thoma Bravo is one of the institutional participants involved in the equity sale, along with Goldman Sachs and the venture divisions of PayPal, Amex, and Citi Group.
Esteban Castaño, co-founder and CEO of TRM, stated:
“Demand has never been stronger for solutions that help protect crypto users, impede illicit actors, and support blockchain-based innovation. As the industry continues to mature, TRM is setting the standard for data, products, and training that equip enterprises and governments to combat fraud and financial crime, even as new threats emerge.”
Software that enables the tracking of cryptocurrency transactions, risk analysis of other crypto firms, and transaction monitoring for anti-money laundering compliance are all part of TRM’s main product range.
