With 3.6 million followers, the official Shiba Inu Twitter account has attained a new record. Shiba Inu has increased in popularity recently, gaining nearly 200,000 followers in just three months.
Shiba Inu initially overtook Dogecoin in terms of Twitter followers in August of this year. In honor of the achievement, the official Twitter account tweeted a message of encouragement for the “best community ever.”
The number of holders of Shiba Inu keeps rising
According to WhaleStats, the overall number of SHIB owners has reached a new high of 1,243,804. Even while it might not have an immediate effect on price, a growth in the number of holders may indicate long-term interest in an asset.
SHIB is also breaking a record for its long-term holders, or “hodlers”. In contrast to midterm speculators and short-term traders, who each make up 46% and 4% of Shiba Inu owners, long-term holders, or “hodlers,” currently make up 50% of Shiba Inu owners.
A total of 43,217,038 SHIB tokens have been burned over the last 24 hours. According to the Shib Burn website, the burn rate has increased by 656% over this time. On November 9, Shiba Inu hit a low of $0.000082.
