Owners of Polygon wallets have the ability to design personalized Mastercard NFT debit cards that let customers spend cryptocurrency and fiat money at more than 90 million merchant locations globally.

Customers of Polygon must download the hi app, register for an account, and choose a Silver or higher card level in order to be eligible for an exclusive card. They will then be able to customize their cards using NFTs that Polygon will produce.

The move is Polygon’s most recent strategic alliance as it strives to represent gasless fees for NFTs. The largest NFT marketplace in Solana, Magic Eden, and new blockchain gaming features from Starbucks are both supported by Polygon.

“The Polygon team are true blockchain pioneers and we are excited to partner with them to explore new frontiers for Web3, particularly in the banking and payments space,” said hi co-founder Sean Rach.

In September of this year, Mastercard and hi collaborated. The first customizable NFT debit cards were subsequently introduced by the companies.
