A&T Capital Partner Jun YU Accused Of Rape And Sexual Harassment

Key Points:

  • A&T Capital partner and former director of OKX Invest, Jun YU, is receiving allegations from several women, including his former subordinate at A&T Capital, of “rape” and harassment of sex.
  • Jun YU is suspected of replying to rumors on Twitter earlier and giving his coordinates in Zhejiang to refute allegations that he was arrested. But later deleted the tweet, saying that Twitter was stolen.
  • Now both A&T Capital and OKX have corrected that he no longer holds any positions at their companies.
According to reputable source Wu Blockchain, Jun YU, a founding partner of Ant Financial’s crypto fund A&T Capital and a former director of OKX Investment, has been harassed by several women, including his former employer at A&T Capital, accused of “rape” and sexual harassment.

Industry insiders suggested that the two agencies issue a timely statement and conduct a detailed investigation to see if there are other potential victims.

Previously, Jun YU was suspected of wisely replying to rumors on Twitter and giving his coordinates in Zhejiang to refute the allegations, as mentioned earlier, that he was arrested. But later deleted the tweet, saying Twitter may have been stolen.

Relevant people from Ant Group have announced that Jun YU has resigned from Ant Group but remains a partner of A&T Capital.

According to OKX’s response, Jun YU joined OK Capital in March 2018 and left in July 2019. During Jun YU’s tenure, no related reports were received. OKX always adheres to a zero-tolerance attitude towards sexual harassment and other illegal acts in the workplace and will strictly handle it if discovered.

The scandal affecting its reputation caused A&T Capital to send a letter to investors stating that Yu Jun had represented one of their investors (probably Ant Financial) and was appointed into A&T Capital. However, he quit his job at the investor’s company. As a result, Mr. Yu will no longer be involved in any work of A&T Capital and will no longer represent the fund. This change will not affect the fund’s operations.

However, A&T Capital’s letter remains unresponsive to the founding partner’s sexual harassment controversy.
