There will be two versions of the collection: Commemorative and Open. On April 13, the Commemorative edition will be airdropped to Ethereum Core Devs, while the Open edition will be accessible to all Web3 users.

The mint will begin on April 12 at 9 p.m. EDT and will run for 72 hours. Users may use their MetaMask wallets to mint the NFT for free.

This NFT is free; anybody may create as many as they like via individual transactions. The sole expense will be paying petrol costs for each mint. These gas prices might fluctuate greatly depending on the activity on the Ethereum mainnet.

To commemorate the Ethereum Merge, ConsenSys created the “Regenesis” NFT collection in September. There were two sets of NFTs in the collection. The first was a set of commemorative NFTs that ConsenSys delivered to the Ethereum Core Developers (Core Devs), researchers, and client teams as a mark of our appreciation for their efforts in building a more sustainable, secure, and scalable Ethereum.

The collection’s second batch of NFTs was an open-edition Regenesis NFT that anybody with a web3 wallet could manufacture. Regenesis is inextricably linked to the origin of PoS Ethereum since it possesses one of the earliest NFTs issued on Block 1. The Open edition of Regenesis had around 327,600 mints.

On March 28, ConsenSys released a zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine public testnet. The zkEVM testnet made a private beta version available to 100 people. But, it is now available to anybody.
