The kidnappers wanted one million euros and gained access to his cryptocurrency software. The kidnappers were unaware that the victim had snapped a picture that may have revealed the location to a coworker, prompting a police response and the arrest of three kidnappers. The victim was unharmed.

The victim is Syrian, resides in Hungary, and, according to what he stated, owns a cryptocurrency management firm in Dubai. Since he had been partying with his new coworkers for many days, his abduction was not forced.

They had met at a beautiful resort on Wednesday, and he had appeared. According to what he told the agents, as soon as he arrived, one of those present greeted him in a PPE suit, which made him suspicious that something was amiss.

He’d flown in from Hungary for a two-week holiday on the Costa del Sol. He came alone, with just his suitcase, and asked a buddy from Dubai if he knew anybody in the region who could show him around.

He introduced him to an Albanian with whom he had been partying for many days at fine restaurants in Marbella, and they had met this Wednesday in a luxury property in Benalmádena. What he didn’t expect was for the host and his colleagues to become his own kidnappers.

They tied him up, placed a pistol to his head, and demanded a million euros in exchange for his freedom. According to accounts, the kidnappers allowed him to use his phone to access the programs he uses as a Bitcoin manager and to contact the person who had to pay the ransom.

To release him, an inquiry against time started here. The National Police negotiator at Malaga police station was providing the guy from Hungary instructions on how to continue.

One of the inmates has many phony identities and a history of armed robbery in another part of the nation. Moreover, two of them were in possession of fake Greek passports, but the Albanian did have his legitimate documents. The three remain in police custody, and it is likely that they will appear in court on Saturday, accused of kidnapping, unlawful possession of firearms, and injury.
