Coinbase has announced a partnership with Bitkey, a self-custody bitcoin wallet app from Jack Dorsey’s Block.

This collaboration will allow customers to purchase bitcoin easily while still maintaining control of their private keys. With this new partnership, Bitkey users can buy, sell and transfer bitcoin through Coinbase Pay on their mobile app or hardware wallet. While the platform is still in beta testing, it is expected to launch publicly later this year.
