Earlier, NFT trader MachiBigBrother, also known as Jeffrey Huang, sued ZachXBT, an independent blockchain detective, last week after the on-chain sleuth released a report last year saying Huang embezzled tens of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency.

ZachXBT then said that Jeffrey Huang’s lawsuit was without merit and that he would fight back to protect free expression. ZachXBT has asked fans to contribute to help fund its legal defense.

While the famed blockchain sleuth prepares to face defamation charges, the crypto community and big corporations have given over $1 million in different stablecoins and tokens to ZachXBT.

Hundreds of wallets sent ZachXBT USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), Dai (DAI), and memecoins like JESUS and PEPE, according to data from the on-chain analytics platform Nansen. Binance, CertiK, and Tron founder Justin Sun are among those who have backed the project. The majority of these payments were received on the Ethereum blockchain, with minor amounts supplied from tokens based on Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Optimist, Polygon, and Fantom.

According to blockchain data, ZachXBT shifted the cash to another address as of Monday morning.

The NFT market Blur data showed Jeffrey Huang previously sold 11 BAYC series NFTs for 476.43 ETH. During the same time, he sold 5 MAYC series NFTs, 2 Azuki series NFTs, and 1 CryptoPunks series NFT for a total of 19 NFTs.

Jeffrey Huang is a technology entrepreneur, a former musician, and one of the biggest holders of the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club. The recent information of Twitter detective ZachXBT accused him of embezzling 22,000 ETH from treasury management services firm Formosa Financial in 2018.

The Taiwanese-American businessman commonly known by his online moniker “Machi Big Brother” is accused of running “more than 10 failed pump & dump projects and NFT projects” over the next four years. The article also reveals Huang’s history in the crypto space, the projects and people he has hooked up with, as well as evidence to prove the shady transaction.

Huang originally rose to fame as a founding member of the pop/rap band L.A. Boyz in the 90s. He then founded the hip hop group “Machi” in 2003, as well as the record label “MACHI Entertainment”.

Although Huang started out in the music business, he branched out into technology when he founded 17 Media (M17) in 2015, becoming one of the most popular live-streaming apps in Asia.
