Maverick Protocol Announces Massive Airdrop: 30 Million MAV Tokens To Claim

According to the official blog, Maverick Protocol, the 34th Launchpool Project On Binance With Dynamic Distribution AMM, has announced the full details of the Maverick Ecosystem Pre-season Incentive Program. The MAV token airdrop claim will be carried out on both the Ethereum and zkSync Era chains. veMAV tokens will be available on both chains as well.

Maverick Ecosystem Incentive Program Pre-Season is a major development for early adopters and contributors to the Maverick ecosystem. The program includes various incentives for users who have contributed to the ecosystem’s growth and development.

The primary incentive offered through the program is the airdrop for eligible users. A total of 30,000,000 MAV tokens are allocated to eligible users who can claim them starting on June 28th, 2023, on Ethereum and zkSync Era chain.

Eligible users include 26,155 Ethereum wallet addresses and 96,075 zkSync Era wallet addresses who participated in the Maverick Ecosystem Pre-Season. Rewards are calculated based on various factors, including liquidity providing, achieving contributor roles, participation in snapshot governance votes, trading volume using Maverick UI, and holding Maverick MAVA NFTs.

In addition to this, the governance bonus incentive for veMAV holders is another exciting feature of the program. This bonus incentive provides further voting incentives and a pro-rata split of 10,000,000 MAV tokens among all veMAV holders at the time of the snapshot on July 27th, 2023. This incentive is designed to encourage veMAV holders to participate in the governance of the ecosystem and further shape its direction.

The program is designed to bootstrap liquidity during Maverick ve-model launch stage 1 and incentivize early Maverick ve-model participants and ecosystem builders. Liquidity providers and ecosystem participants will receive rewards based on the size of liquidity supplied and their performance on any liquidity strategy deployed on Maverick.
