OKX Expands Cryptocurrency Offerings with Dogecoin Ordinals Integration

The integration includes Dogecoin Ordinals and Bitcoin token standard SRC-20 (Stamps), allowing users to seamlessly view and transfer inscription standards.

In a recent statement, OKX revealed that its wallet would integrate additional standards in late February, such as ARC-20 (Atomicals), DRC-20 (Dogecoin Ordinals or Doginals), and Runes. Simultaneously, the OKX Marketplace will also integrate DRC-20, ARC-20, and Runes standards, offering millions of users the opportunity to buy and sell these inscriptions with zero fees.

Similar to BRC-20 on Bitcoin, newer token standards are receiving unique names, such as PRC-20 on Polygon PoS, Ethscriptions on Ethereum, and Solana Inscriptions on Solana.

According to Jason Lau, the Chief Innovation Officer at OKX, the rapid adoption of inscriptions, particularly among Asian users, led to the development of OKX’s product offerings in their web3 self-custodial wallet. The platform has witnessed a significant surge in users, growing from hundreds to over 100,000, showcasing the expanding market interest, The Block reported.

Concurrently, the OKX Marketplace will facilitate the purchase and sale of DRC-20, ARC-20, and Runes inscriptions without any fees. As a top crypto trading platform by total market share, OKX continues to provide users with a Web3 wallet, offering a comprehensive solution for managing, purchasing, and selling inscriptions in the evolving crypto landscape.
