KuCoin Delists Polyhedra Amidst Ticker Controversy
This has led the community to speculate that KuCoin might be preparing for the listing of zkSync and would replace Polyhedra’s ZK token with a new code.
According to sources, an issue arose between the two ZK projects, Polyhedra Network and zkSync, when both decided on the same ticker code, ZK, for their tokens.
It started when Bybit announced the listing of zkSync’s token on their platform, stating that it would bear the ZK ticker, while listing details would follow. Notably, Bybit had listed Polyhedra’s ZK token two months prior.
To avoid confusion between two projects with one ticker, Bybit decided to change the ticker symbol for Polyhedra’s token.
Bybit is committed to providing a clear and user-friendly trading experience. As part of our ongoing efforts, we will be making adjustments to the ticker symbol for the Polyhedra Network token listed on our platform.

Conflicts Between zkSync and Polyhedra Over Ticker Code
Polyhedra felt wronged by this decision because they had been using this token code for so long and must now change it because of zkSync.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Polyhedra labeled zkSync as a “robber”and “thief”. They criticized zkSync for taking others’ rightful ticker names, stating that Web3 was never intended for such ‘bullying’.
