The announcement came right from the game’s Telegram channel with a whopping subscriber base of over 52 million subscribers. On the same day, the game will airdrop its HMSTR tokens among the community.

According to the project’s whitepaper, 60% of the HMSTR tokens have been reserved for the players through the Hamster Kombat airdrop. The remaining tokens are to be used for market liquidity, ecosystem partnerships, grants, and other uses.

Hamster Kombat has gained huge momentum in the Web3 gaming space, driven mainly by its idle earning mechanism. Since its launch this summer of 2024, the game has acquired over 300 million players, with the latest data revealing it to have over 80 million active users.
